Practicing
    

Members classifed as PRACTICING must meet all the following criteria:

  • Be certified in Montana
  • Currently working for a public accounting firm
  • Currently living in Montana
  • Dues $255/year
Government/Industry/Education
     Members classified as GOVERNMENT/INDUSTRY/EDUCATION must meet all the following criteria:
  • Must be certified in Montana
  • Do not work for a public accounting firm
  • Must currently live in Montana
  • Dues $225/yr
Associate
     Members classified as ASSOCIATE IN-COUNTRY must meet all the following criteria:
  • NOT certified in Montana
  • Must live in the United States
  • Dues $195/yr 
Non-CPA Member Working in a CPA Firm
    

Non-CPA members shall be owners or staff working directly with/for certified public accounts who do not hold a certificate themselves. 

Dues:  $255/year

Note:  Non-CPA membership is open only to those living/working within the United States.
Non-CPA Member Working in Government, Industry or Education
    

Non-CPA members shall be educators teaching accounting or accounting related courses at a college or university; or accounting professionals in industry, government or not-for-profit organizations who do not hold a certificate themselves.

Dues:  $225/year

Note:  Non-CPA membership is open only to those living/working within the United States.
Student
    

IMPORTANT!!  Student membership requires a special registration form.  To access that application click here or go to our student webpage.

Members classified as STUDENT must meet all the following criteria: 

  • Must be enrolled in a Montana college or university that is accredited to offer a baccalaureate degree with a concentration in accounting
  • Must have at least Junior standing
  • Dues $0/yr 
  • Membership will be paid by Montanaconnection.org sponsors
Retired Member
     Members classified as RETIRED must meet all the following criteria:
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant
  • Must be 60 years of age or older
  • Retired from practice
  • Has not been granted honorary life status
  • Dues $50/yr
Out-of-State Member
     Members classified as OUT-OF-STATE must meet all the following criteria:
  • Must be certified in Montana
  • Not currently a resident of Montana
  • Dues $195/yr
