Emily Mae Isaacson

Emily Isaacson graduated from the University of Massachusetts – Boston in Management and Accounting in 2009. She worked at PwC in its audit division for three years, first in the Boston office and then the San Francisco office. While there, she performed audits of financial institutions and mutual funds. From there, she moved onto SunRun, a start up in its first three years of business. SunRun had 20 subsidiary entities at the time and was doing all its accounting in QuickBooks, so the challenges were unique. She worked on the implementation of the Oracle and conversion from QuickBooks, while also managing on-going financial statement audits of all the individual entities.

In 2014, Emily returned home to Montana joining Galusha, Higgins and Galusha (which soon merged with Wipfli, LLP), moving back into auditing. Emily performed audits across the state, mostly in the non-profit and healthcare sectors. After three years with Wipfli, Emily began working at Shodair Children’s Hospital. Today, she is the Controller, overseeing purchasing, accounts payable and the general ledger. In 2019, she completed both and accounting system and payroll/HR system conversion.

Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and dog. Her hobbies include swimming, baking and sewing.
