Marcus Meyer

Marcus Meyer is an investigator with the Office of Consumer Protection (OCP) within the Department of Justice. OCP is responsible for maintaining the State’s electronic registry for end-of-life advanced directives plus a variety of other programs geared to protect Montana consumers: Foreclosure Assistance, ID Theft Passport, Do Not Call, Security Freeze, Lemon Law and registrations for telemarketers, debt management and debt settlement companies. All of these programs are described on the DOJ website, www.dojmt.gov. Marcus’ job responsibilities include educating consumers about deceptive business practices and investigating/mediating complaints from consumer against businesses. Marcus earned a BA in Business Administration and Marketing from Carroll College
