Anthony Poppler

Agent Anthony Poppler is a sworn and acting Criminal Investigator for the State of Montana. Agent Poppler has been in law enforcement for over twenty years and is currently employed by the State of Montana Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation assigned to the Major Case Section.

Agent Poppler’s prior employment includes serving as a Chief of Police, ATF Task Force Officer, Criminal Investigations Sergeant, Narcotics Sergeant, Gang Unit Supervisor and SWAT. Agent Poppler has an Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, Associate of Applied Science Degree in Law Enforcement and Private Security and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social and Criminal Justice.

Agent Poppler is a graduate of the 275th Session of the FBI National Academy. Agent Poppler has been awarded his Intermediate and Advanced Certification issued by the Montana Public Safety Officer Standards and Training. Agent Poppler has successfully completed over 3,500 hours of documented law enforcement training.
