Bill Northey

As Senior Investment Director, Bill is responsible for leading teams of client facing investment professionals across the firm’s entire geographic footprint for the Wealth Management segment. Bill is a member of the firm’s investment leadership team, which is responsible for firm-wide activities, including investment strategy, asset allocation and due diligence processes. Bill also manages investment portfolios for institutional and high net worth clients.

A frequent public speaker, Bill often serves as a spokesperson for client events, media and national calls. He is often quoted in interviews with national media outlets, including The Associated Press, Bloomberg, Reuters, CNBC and The Wall Street Journal.

Prior to joining U.S. Bank in 2000 as a portfolio manager, Bill was an equity investment analyst with a public pension fund, where he was responsible for specific sector and security research coverage for the retirement system. Prior to entering investment management and research field, he served as corporate controller for a private enterprise. He has more than 25 years of finance and investment experience.

Bill is a member of the CFA Institute. He is a board member for St. Peter’s Hospital, where he served as past chairman and is now on the Finance and Executive Committees and Regional Services Board. Previously, Bill has served in officer and board member roles for numerous non-profit entities and civic organizations as well as coaching youth sports for over a decade for his three sons.
