Description

Great Falls Chapter January Meeting
Presents: What To Think About When Your Client Dies
Presenter: Heather Starnes, JD, MBA

When:  Thursday, January 23rd
Where:  Clark & Lewie’s (O’Haire Motor Inn)
Time: Noon to 1:00 pm
Cost:  $10 if you request lunch

About our presentation: Heather Starnes will be presenting on helping our clients and their families deal with the death of a client or client family member, particularly an unplanned or under-planned-for death. Despite our best educational efforts, many of our clients die without an estate plan or even a will, and often we are the first professional that families reach out to in the absence of a family lawyer. Heather will advise on how to handle those situations, and on what we can do in situations where the family does have an attorney to help our clients and their attorney achieve an efficient estate resolution.

About our presenter: Heather currently works at Jardine, Stephenson, Blewett and Weaver. She received her JD and MBA from St. Mary’s University and is licensed to practice law in Texas and Montana. She practices in the areas of estate planning and administration, business exit planning, elder law and business and corporate organizations.

Please RSVP by the end of the day on Monday, January 20th via SurveyMonkey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WGBMWBW
or via email to Karen Gessaman, greatfallschaptermscpa@gmail.com

Lunch will be provided to those who request it. RSVPs may be made after the 20th, but it may be too late to request lunch.
